Description
The Midnight Hour’s Lost Tapes is a jazz album on CD by Adrian Younge and Ali Shaheed Muhammad. It brings together recordings made during sessions for the duo’s second album in 2020.
Younge and Muhammad released their self-titled debut as The Midnight Hour in 2018. Recorded to tape with a live rhythm section and a full orchestra, it received widespread acclaim.
The later sessions were shelved and the album remained unfinished and unheard. These recordings have now been unearthed through the Jazz Is Dead label.
