Description
Frog in Boiling Water is the fourth full-length album by DIIV, written by the band and produced by Chris Coady. This import vinyl release is for listeners drawn to hypnotic shoegaze and reflective, dark-edged songwriting.
Across its songs, DIIV explores the harsh realities of end-stage capitalism and rapid technological change. The album expands the band’s shoegaze sound into a work shaped by sensitivity and depth.
Despite its dark subject matter, Frog in Boiling Water also reaches towards hope, beauty and renewal, with a transportive and sensual sound.
